Behavior Change Through Psychedelics:

Perceptions of Psychedelic Practitioners

This is a retrospective study of the relationship between psychedelic experiences and changes in health-related behaviors, from the perception of psychedelic facilitators or anyone who as guided others in their experiences.

This study is being conducted in partnership the Unit of Cognitive Psychology at Leiden University, and researchers from the the Center for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, and Columbia University.


This study is part of a Doctoral Dissertation and has received approval from Leiden University Psychology research ethics committee.

Why participate?


Psychedelic guides have a unique perspective and lived experience and the data collected in this study will contribute to a better understanding of the effects of psychedelic experiences on health, and well-being.


What the study entails?

You will be asked to complete a single online questionnaire, which takes about 30 minutes (you can exit and return to the questionnaire later).

Criteria to be eligible

Ticked Checkbox

Have consumed a psychedelic substance (at least 10 times).

Ticked Checkbox

Have guided, supported or facilitated at least 30 psychedelic experiences (individual or group experiences).

Ticked Checkbox

You are over 18 years old.

Ticked Checkbox

Have a sufficiently good understanding of the English language,
